Support

Lots of companies talk about having great support.

If you are a publisher, take a look at the Facebook Developers Forum and look at the track records of other ad networks in this space. Do they pay on time? Do you notice that your earnings go backwards when the ad network increases the margin they are taking? What kinds of answers do you get when there's a reporting discrepancy or when their systems are down-- do they credit you, make excuses, or completely ignore you?

If you are an advertiser, don't be afraid to go behind the curtain and ask how the social ad server really works. Is your network able to target specific publishers? What if you are an app owner--- can you exclude ads from running on your own app? Is there someone who can readily answer your questions about what is working or isn't? Are junior people answering your support questions with cookie-cutter answers, or do you have folks like myself (Harrison Gevirtz) who are there to take care of your goals? You always have the option to contact me directly-- harrison@leaderclicks.com, any time.

I have personally advertised on one of the largest ad network on Facebook, who held onto $31k of my funds for almost a month, without returning phone calls, emails, or support tickets. This network will remain unnamed. As advertisers and developers ourselves, we understand that folks are making a living on their apps-- this is what pays their mortgages and puts food on the table. We know how hard you work and we work just as hard as you do.
